Melting in your arms
So this piece was for a project a while back for my space research class. The assignment was to incorporate a figure of speech into a work. I used wire to make a pair of arms and sculpted two people out of batik wax, one for each arm. Then I put the two into my oven. The wax figures lost their features as they melted into the wire arms. To present the piece, I suspended the arms from a structure...
